Oh what had she done? Twig-thin legs carried her scrawny frame through the same dark forest the one she sought rescued her from, blue eyes searching rapidly for any sign of the pale mare. Rue had slipped away from her babysitter, wanting to follow her family wherever they had gone, but by the time she got away they were gone, nothing but faint trails left behind. These she had followed... but they lead to nowhere. She had gotten lost, and couldn't find her way back. An expecting mare had taken her in, nursed her, however the birth of the foal had made the mare choose something difficult, and thus Rue had been chased from her side. She didn't mind too much, save that she was hungry, horribly so, her belly hurting, and she tried to eat grass, but it did little, if anything, to satisfy her hunger. The little filly was growing desperate, hence her stumbling haste as she moved through the forest. A jutting root caught her foot, and Rue fell to the ground in a tangle of limbs, laying there rather confused by what just happened. She didn't get up, too tired to. Besides, Mamma would come, or Pappa or Unca' or someone. They always came, they always found her... "Speech speech speech" @[Kaj] So sorry this sucks >.> |
