This girl seemed to go through moods faster than the golden did. As she greeted the other with less attraction and returned to her tree, the golden seemed to fail in interest slightly. If she wasn’t going to put effort into this why should he? Oh she was a poor weary traveler? The golden, had little room in his dark heart for sympathy. Still, her mood swings only supported her belonging to the higher mountains. To a land where every creature could play the king, and hidden motives were a local past time.

She immediately took the bait though. His own sharp tease not too harsh against her. In fact, it wasn’t even noticed. Immediately she seemed drawn up in the scenery. The golden could only look at her in curiosity and sigh. It never failed, you never knew what these creatures wanted. Sial speaks up and the golden turns to him slightly, but immediately back. In his mind he still did not know the tiger creature. This Waprevah the golden had never met may have trusted his, but the gold was more skeptical. He certainly it the Basin requirements, had a horn, built tough, and a brain on his head. Besides the golden enjoyed setting a wolf among the sheep now and then, he was one himself.

So he turns back to the girl. “Yes there is snow. But we never go without, for we have grasses, hot springs, and caves.” They also had 20 foot snow drifts in some places, but that was a minor thing at this point. Still though her questions continued. The next though seriously made the gold question her. A herd? Well of course there was a herd, he lead it! But he is a fabulous liar and keeps the judgement to himself. “Yes, we are the Aurora Basin, a strong force, and brethren. The world holds their breath at our name.” Oh look how prophetic he was being. But he was trying to appeal to her. She hadn’t balked at the snow, which was a first.

But it was growing time to decide. If they were to make it to the Basin before the chill of sundown it would have to move soon. So picking up his head the golden seems to gather himself. Looking to Sial he speaks, a slightly more formal tone. “I am off, if you will come.” It was short and to the point, the stallion, looking bored and disconnected from the conversation, seemed to fit the need. Then he turns back to the silver. “I stand by what I say, I think it will suit you. Will you come to see the Basin?” He smiles as he did when he first entered, though perhaps little more twisted. He could see how quick she had come to attention, and was hoping the quick decision moment would swing her. If not, well at least he wouldn’t return empty handed, though perhaps the journey would have a little less….beautiful scenery.

The itsy bitsy spider climbed up the waterspout.
Down came the rain
and washed the spider out.
