Cosette's eyes did not linger on the surrounding landscape much longer. The others had seemingly fallen silent; whether it be in shock or a sudden lack of interest, the Gold did not quite know, nor did it honestly concern her. Ears twitched towards the behemoth, and she looked up to him as he spoke of the dying light.

A bemused, mildly feminine rumble rolled in her throat. "At least someone here is sane," she mused, eyes glancing back to the Brat who found her hatred of the snow (and cold) apparently annoying. There was no parting farewell sent to the antlered annoyance, just a snide smile thrown in her direction; although the Gold was not quite as cold to the other two. Her head dipped towards the colt, a lazy ear flicking towards him. "I assume this is not the last time we will see one another," she pondered aloud, although it was hardly a 'warm' farewell.

Her eyes settled on Mesec, and she was silent. There was something quite odd about this stallion that piqued her interest; but what exactly it was, she could not pinpoint it. Regardless, she nodded to him, "Likewise, Mesec." The Gold made a mental note to seek out the stallion at a future time, although she wasn't fully sure why.

With that, the Gold turned to Tembovu. "I'll trust your judgment when it comes to getting to the Edge before nightfall," she stated simply. The behemoth dwarfed the petite mare in size and stature, and his long strides were met with her own upbeat pace... and possibly an extra half a stride to compensate for the size difference. But in his brief pause, the Gold overtook him, and glanced over her shoulder as she continued on trotting to the west. "Well?" she huffed, "What're you stopping for?"
