The glisten of the snow in the light of the dying autumn sun is orange, like flames cast over the tundra. The icy landscape, with fresh blankets of snow as the season of Orangemoon winds to its close, looks afire. It is then, in that brilliant moment where quiet blue turns to orange and yellow, that a black stallion comes into view, seemingly out of nowhere. He steps forward, obsidian hooves crunching in the snow as delicate flakes stick to his feathers.
A strange unicorn, to be sure, with a horn like a white lightning bolt shooting from his skull, and white markings painting his black hide. The stallion moves with precision and purpose, walking across the Frostbreath Steppe quietly and alone. Where did he come from?
Perhaps, if any viewers were close enough, they would hear a comment almost bitter with sarcasm spill from his lips. "Honey, I'm home," before the syllables disappeared in a mist of warm vapor expelled from his lungs.
