For as long as he could remember, in his whole four years of existence. The Steppe had always been covered in layers of ice and snow. Sickly grey bushes grew from a deprived ground; no higher callings could sprout within this land of stern rulings. It was simply too cold for most creatures and plants to take root; but, what did sprout had a hidden beauty he was only just beginning to realize. The group voiced two options. He sighted softly, his breath creating a frozen mist. The mares seemed intent upon turning quiet conversation in another direction. Neither option he disagreed nor agreed with; mostly because this territory was not his expertise. The strangely painted creature spoke again, tone demanding attention and silence. Respectfully gaze trailed up with senses perked toward listening. Mauja inserted his feelings on the matter, and Midas remained quiet until he had finished before speaking up curiously, “Helovia is home to many, are you a mortal son of hers?” The stranger seemed familiar with their land, but it was hard to tell if this territory had birthed him into existence; or by chance their unnamed acquaintance had been hailed from somewhere else. Either way, his question might shed some light upon a mysterious aura that was being steadily maintained. |
