The concept of mothers hadn't been explained to Cera yet and he listened carefully to the white filly. Though she understood mothers, Cera was inclined towards fathers considering the role Midas played in his life. He loved his daddy. "Strange...parents no stay long." Cera wasn't bothered by the fact his mother had deserted him. After all he could hardly remember her, and didn't know that it was an unusual and almost cruel thing to do. Lullaby seemed quite distraught that they spoke so casually of not having parents and Cera too frowned. Not wanting the pretty mare to be sad at all.

Azeen was quick to say she had no parents. Cera only hesitated a little before answering in kind both to her and Lullaby's concerned question. "Midas my daddy. He found me. Not real daddy but that okay. He gone a lot though...works for the herd." Midas had a job to do and Cera understood that. But without supervision he wandered quite a lot. Yet he never missed the time Midas would return, always waiting under their tree for him. The idea of a mother however was completely foreign to him. Peacefully retreating into his thoughts as Lullaby and Azeen conversed. Midas tried his hardest to raise Cera well, and he loved him more than words could express. Though he got awful lonely when he had to leave, and found himself rather scared of being abandoned once again. Was that the hole a mother was supposed to fill? Face scrunched slightly, a tad confused and unhappy.
