| Much had changed this season and it was hard to figure out if it was actually a good thing or if it was bad. All her life she had been so opposed to change yet here she was standing in the middle of it. A new homeland, a new life... was this really what was best for her? Now more than ever she wished that there was someone she could talk to that could give her advice and maybe a little comfort. She longed for her parents to be there with her but life had taken that from her long ago. Was her uncertainty and fearfulness in life somehow related to experiences of the past? Sighing softly she knew better than to ask questions that there would never be answers for. What she needed to do was try and focus on the future and what it may hold. There was her son to think about and trying to create a life that he could be happy in without worrying constantly about her, not that she wanted him to in the first place. Perhaps the future could hold happiness and...and all those other things that people talk about. Sure lets stick with that version and hope to hell that it happens so she might be able to believe all her attempts at being positive for once. Death, despair and heartbreak were not in the future... well in her positive thinking side of things anyways. Laughing to herself she tried to believe those thoughts while she attempted to ignore the other side of her that was screaming to run away while she still had the chance. Trodding onwards through the snow the mare hoped to find something familiar to tell her where she had managed to end up this time. Her sense of direction had been thrown off when the herd had made the move to the falls. Things were no longer where they once were leaving her feeling similar to the day she had arrived here in Helovia. Wandering at random for what seemed like hours she finally managed to find something that was familiar! See she wasn't completely useless she could at least manage to find the threshold though getting back home might take some work. Pushing away those thoughts she chose to focus on the sole reason she had come out here in the first place, recruiting new arrivals. While it was in her new job description she would much rather be trying to figure out how to channel the earth god's crafting magic back home. It wasn't long before the scent of a stranger crossed her path leading her off in another direction. Moving cautiously now her blue eyes scanned left and right, back and forth trying to find whoever might be out there before they found her. It was at times like this that she was thankful that her white coat helped camouflage her against the snowy landscape. Moving slowly through the trees her eyes finally caught sight of the new mare not too far up ahead. Observing her from afar for a minute or two she gathered her courage and stepped into the small clearing pasting a kind smile to her face. Wickering softly in greeting she lifted her head hoping to catch the mare's eye. "Hello, is there anything I can help you with?"
