Elsa
I've cried, and you'd think I'd be better for it, but the sadness just sleeps, and it stays in my spine the rest of my life.

The remnants of her past had finally seemed to drift away. As much as she wished to cling to her family, they were gone for good. Her daughters were gone, and to add insult to injury, it seems Oxy had fell off the face of the planet with them. Was this what she got for trying to defend her home? Should she have just bent over backwards and spoon fed the land into the mouths of the greedy? Maybe she should have. But it was too long ago, and society was moving on without her. And without society, she would be left with absolutely nothing.

Edgar sat quietly, peeping softly, almost like a purr to comfort his bonded. The frosty bird shared in her agony, but day by day, the wound was healing, and it was just a little easier to breathe. For now, all was good. The Edge, even when dripping with bitterness, had given her the chance to start over. For that, she owed them her life, and much less, a better chance at survival. She had already witness one home fall to ruins, and she couldn't let her new one fall into the distant memories of others. The Edge would learn to thrive if it was up to her, and she was going to do everything in her power to get in there.

The only way to help now through, was to recruit. The Edge was barren, lacking any sort of real her interaction. Everyone that was there already worked in their own little world. The kings did whatever it was they did, she did her recruiting thing, and the healers and crafters she supposed were on standby for work. Speaking of crafters, did they even have a glazier yet? Shaking her head, she took off, flying straight towards the threshold, in search of someone, or thing, to bring home.

The flight was monotonous and quiet, Edgar had curled up on her poll to take a short nap. He was still growing, and it took a lot of energy out of him. As quietly as possible, Elsa landed just outside of the threshold, and tucked her wings gently against her side. The sound of female a female voice caught her ears, and she began to follow the sound to its source.

Sitting just inside a small clearing were two mares. One looked, and smelled new. The other, well she, in Elsa's opinion, smelled heavily of the Falls. Calling that place home for so long had ingrained that scent into her. Maybe Elsa was wrong though, and she would have a much easier time standing in the grey woman's presence. Otherwise, it was going to turn into a conversation of fake smiles and wishes. That was so much harder to do than to actually be happy. So Elsa dipped her head respectfully to them both, turning to the smallest of the three. "Welcome to Helovia miss. My name is Elsa, a Forungar, or better known as a general, of the World's Edge. Do you need any assistance? I could escort you back to the Edge if you need some rest and shelter?" A smile spread across her face, to reassure both, that as of now, she had no intention of hurting either. Edgar stirred upon her head, poking his head up from her mess of tangled mane, and squawked happily, greeting these new strangers.
