Elsa
I've cried, and you'd think I'd be better for it, but the sadness just sleeps, and it stays in my spine the rest of my life.

Not in need of assistance? By the looks of it, she seemed exhausted, and possible wounded. Elsa scrunched her nose, but nodded respectfully in Lyric's direction. If she said she didn't need help, Elsa would take her word for it. Why would she lie about it anyway? Her attention flickered to the mare then, Brisa as she had introduced herself. She was a mare of the Hidden Falls, which was no surprise to her. She smelled of that thick foliage. Elsa brushed it off quickly though, hiding any signs of her discomfort behind a warm smile as she began to talk to the timid mare. "The World's Edge would welcome you warmly. We are a relatively new herd, so all of us there are learning about each other. You'd fit right in. And if you do decide you need help, we have very skilled healers." She shrugged, not sure how to keep the conversation moving. Elsa was never one for stories or small talk, but she was learning. It seemed apt to try, at least for now, to keep Lyric's interest. She seemed lost in another world, almost like she wasn't here. "So how did you find yourself in Helovia?" It was a touchy question for most, but one Elsa was always interested in. It was amazing to see how many different lands existed outside of Helovia. Elsa was beginning to think Helovia was the last place to go, beyond here, there was nothing. It was like the last attempt at survival.

Edgar on the other hand, was growing bored with the silence, and decided to speak up again. He peeped flapping his wings. Elsa blinked a few times, shaking her head lightly to get him to calm down. It didn't matter how old he got, he would always be loud and cocky. "Excuse him, his name is Edgar. He was just trying to say hi, likes to meet new horses." He settled then, sitting stout and smug atop her head, fluffing his feathers for a little extra pizzazz.

Elsa then turned to Brisa, the new mare. She seemed nice enough, at least for now. Maybe she was one of the ones that decided not to fight. Sitting idly by was better than brute force, and forgiveness was something Elsa needed to embrace. "It is a pleasure to meet you Brisa, have you been in Helovia long?" Another question she was genuinely interested in. Learning a little bit about those around you never caused any harm.

See Elsa, you can be nice sometimes.

"talk"
[ooc; likewise! Lyric's a very interesting character. :)]
