Over the last couple weeks there had not been too much activity going on within the Basin walls leaving it rather dull and boring at times. Not being one for socializing well with others for extended periods of time the dark winged mare had basically holed herself up in the cave otherwise known as home. There were no personal touches upon the interior but it had the two most important things darkness and privacy. Many of the earth bound buzzards failed to reach this far up on the mountainside so it made it a perfect little hideaway. Emerging from the darkness at long last the hybrid cast her gaze down upon the grounds below begging something to catch her eye to save her from this boredom. Ice, snow, more snow... wings.. wait what? Narrowing her eyes to get a better look she thought that she must be dreaming for another inhabitant was walking upon the Basin with nothing other than wings sprouting from his back oh and just a plain old lackey following nearby. Watching with mild interest she couldn't help but laugh softly to herself at all the images going through her head. Her greeting to this place was anything but warm and fuzzy she would have loved to see the faces of those who strongly opposed her presence when this one showed up. Ha, maybe this place was even more dysfunctional than she had originally thought.

Still highly amused by such a sight the hybrid launches herself from her perch unfolding her perfect wings to the sky. Choosing to climb high above the now grounded mutt and what looked to be another mutt following behind it, which only added to her amusement, she circled above them staying just within the cloudline. After observing them for a few long seconds she tucked her wings to her sides tilting her body into a headfirst dive towards the frozen earth. She might as well get this over with before she changed her mind she thought with a half snort. Closing her bi-coloured optics to the wind she felt the joyous pressure pressing her faster and faster as she rapidly descended towards the ground. What was considered a death wish to most she found strangely thrilling dancing with her fate should anything go wrong. Why live life if you are afraid to die? Timing her descent with utmost precision the hybrid finally pulled her wings out to slow her deadly descent aiming to land a few feet in front of the newcomer (by her standards) and his doggy friend. Feeling the burn sear through her muscles as her wings dramatically slowed her descent she couldn't feel more alive.

As her hooves slammed into the ice and snow the air around her became white as the snow and ice shards swirled all around her before settling back upon the ground where it had started. Shaking off the excess from her coat and wings she pulled her wings back along her sides and turned to look over to the other hybrid. "So I see you survived the initial approval." she commented her voice dripping in sarcasm and mock humor.
