The Sunspear was glad to see a figure on the horizon. If it was one of her family, the company would be a welcome distraction from worry. If it was an intruder? Well, it’d been a while since shed had a had the excitement of a fight. The mare altered her course, aiming for the dark shape and as she drew nearer she saw a familiar form of blue and brown, though he had certainly changed since she’d seen him . The colt she had met briefly near the Heart was now a lanky yearling but from the looks of things, still dabbling with interesting rocks. The mare put on an easy smile as the neared the colt. She well remembered his charming confidence and attitude on their two previous meetings and so expected to find the same from the Gladiator’s son. “Zèklè! She stopped next to him, intending to inspect his collection of stones but the boy’s angry stop pulled her attention.
