If there was one thing that the colt had to pick that was better about their new home it would be the drastically decreased distance between the Falls and the Threshold. When they were living in the Edge travelling back and forth was a much greater trek and on those hot humid days of Tallsun it was a scorcher. Today the weather was much better, the snow was finally starting to melt away to reveal the green shoots poking from up beneath. He was curious as to what the Falls would look like when all the snow was gone. Maybe there would be new things to discover that had been concealed beneath the ice! That would be something that he had to keep an eye on for sure but another day for right now he had much better things to be doing. Casting an eye back to the mare he had found wandering around the forest he couldn't wait to get back home to show her around. He was determined to show her that it was a great place to be so that she would stay with them. 

"I really think that you will like it here." He said confidently falling back into step with Sky as they continued along their path. The trees were finally starting to thin out around them only to be replaced with the tell tale cliffs rising up from the earth signalling that they were close to home. " There are waterfalls and trees and all sorts of neat things to see plus everyone is very nice. Where did you live before?" He asked out of curiosity feeling the need to keep the conversation going. The colt had never known anything other than Helovia so it was always fascinating to hear about the other lands that were somewhere out there. Someday he might get to see them for himself but for now he was content just to listen to others speak about them and tell their stories. It was hard to imagine some of the lands that he had heard about as they were so much different from here but there was much that he had never seen before. Mother had spoken once or twice about having travelled places but she never really elaborated on them. Perhaps one day she would take him there just so that he could see it for himself.   

Eventually the narrow path they were following opened up to reveal one of the many flat meadows that was home. From where they were standing you could see one of the largest waterfalls cascading down the mountainside along with the trees and many other features that was the Falls. Turning to Sky he wondered what she would think of it, would she like it? "Well this is home. What do you think?"
