You are the sentinels. silent and sure. keeping watch in the night.
Closely the apparition of a lovely maiden watched the behemoth that dwarfed her in size. For a second the man appeared terribly unfocused. Her curiosity was piqued to say the least. Ah, if only she could read minds. His thoughts would have been amusing to her and the naked temptress would have loved to play with the stallion's hormones. But alas she was not one so all she could do was gaze at him with a brow quirked in silent questions.
A near purr rumbled from her chest as she sought to shove her bald head toward the warmth of her escort. "Your humble generosity has no bounds." There was a light, playful air to her voice but not near enough to mask the sincerity underneath it. His mention of the hour made her chuckle. "I cannot imagine sleeping through the Moon's delightful reign. She is subtle with her power whilst the sun is far too brazen - far too harsh." Especially on her exposed skin.
Of course the mare had questions but her tongue was stilled as a voice weaved through the air with royal finesse. Nuray's ears perked at his words but she didn't question their melodramatic quality. Instead she matched grace with grace, two ghouls brushing muzzles in an exchange of greetings.
A warm sensation struck at her head. Home. While her mind held fast to the realm she came from she offered him a smile. There had to be a reason she was called her. "It is good to be back." she replied with ease, as if she was returning from a long trip. "A pleasure to meet you, Mauja. My name is Nuray." The colors in her eyes danced as she gazed upon the phantom.
"You are one of the rulers of these lands, correct?" There could be no other explanation for the regal air he carried and the way he spoke. He belonged here. "I wish to pledge my oath of fealty, my lord. I have heard that the patron Goddess of this herd is that of the Moon. As a Maiden of Moon it is my task, my life, to loyally serve the Moon in all of her forms. It will be a privilege to serve you, serve the herd, in her honor."
"Talk?"
ooc sorry for the tardiness!
