A lot of strange shit had been going on lately all over Helovia and none of it really made a whole lot of sense. First there had been the appearance of the red waterfall and a bunch of strangers suddenly appearing out of thin air. Next came the seriously screwed up wolf creatures and the Moon Goddess appearing in yet another strange land. What in the hell was going on? She had known the world was much bigger than Helovia having seen it from the air but for entire landmasses to appear where there had been none? There was something amiss and whatever it was just didn't sit right with her. It had been just before dawn when she had set out needing to just get away and think things through to figure out what she was going to do about it. There was the easy option of just sitting back and letting others deal with the problems but see that wouldn't work. Leaving her fate in the hands of a bunch of idiots was not exactly on her to do list, no this was something she needed to see for herself. 

As the first rays of sunlight began to break through the clouds the dark girl slowly let her altitude decrease until the crashing waves below were only a couple of feet away. Letting her muzzle fall down to the water's surface she drew in some of the cold liquid still managing to glide ever so gracefully over the water's surface. Taking a deep breath of the salty air she allowed her lids to close just listening to the gurgling water below her and the surrounding nature. All was quiet for now but she had a feeling that it wouldn't stay this way for long, something was about to happen it was just a matter of what? Beating her wings against the surface once more the girl gained back the sky once more hovering about 100 feet above the glistening water that closely resembled the appearance of her own markings. Casting her ice like orbs down to the water's surface she double checked that nothing was in her path before pulling her wings tightly to her chest and allowing her body to plummet towards the water. Tucking her limbs close and angling her body in a downwards trajectory she closed her eyes to await the inevitable plunge almost completely relaxed.

Moments before she broke through the surface she inhaled deeply filling her lungs to capacity and held her breath. The water pierced her skin like a thousand crystals as the cold leached into her body from the cool ocean waters as she descended deeper into the blue. Only when she was reaching her limit did her body spring to life to pull her frame upright as her hind hooves found contact with the delicate sandy bed propelling her back towards the surface. Unfolding her wings she used them to aid her return to the world the best she could manage as she opened her eyes to time her re-entry. With one final thrust she broke the calm surface pushing herself into the air once more without a second's pause. Gritting her teeth as she forced her water logged wings to shed the water and push her higher once more she couldn't help the grin that spread across her face when she was once again hovering back where she had started. Granted she was a little more winded this time around though but who wouldn't be.

Turning her sights back to the shores she made her way over until her hooves touched down in the grass up upon the cliffs rising up above the waves. Taking a couple deep breaths she worked to slow her pounding heartbeat from the workout as she shook herself off trying to dry out her coat and feathers.
