The GOD of the SUN

Burn the whole world down

Those who had gathered began to slowly disperse once he indicated that there would be no battle. The scavengers, looking only for glory and trinkets from whatever dead God they thought would follow him through, were left with nothing. Should they really have expected less from him? The idea made him simultaneously annoyed and amused.

But there were other matters on his mind ...

Perhaps what was about to occur was out of some unspoken order. But the God didn't care. He had always acted as he had seen fit, and his intuitions and decisions had rarely been wrong. Hasty perhaps, but never wrong.

And in this, the God knew that it was neither.

 Ophelia.. He whispered into her mind, breaking away from those who had decided to stay and investigate the flats, and moving with an easy gait to an uninhabited portion of the newly-formed lands.
