This had to be one of the strangest girls he had met so far and by far the most confusing. One minute she was telling him to go away and now she was saying it wasn't him? What in the world did she mean? Even Areli was... ok she was confusing too, hell all girls were crazy and confusing. At least this one had not barreled into him sending them both over a cliff to their certain doom, well not yet. Glancing around he had to make sure that there was no random cliff's that he had not noticed yet. Spying none he sighed softly grateful for the flatness of this new place. While the sand and illusions were a pain in his butt, quite literally in fact, it wasn't all too bad well except for the lack of people around and ohhh the lack of exit signs.

"It's my mother." Say what now? Staring ahead once again the colt was shocked by the answer and didn't have the faintest idea on what to say. He was sorry? No cause then that would sound like he did something to bring those vulture things here to the girl's mother. When she had first mentioned her mother he had thought for a minute that she literally meant her alive mother coming to get them, but since he was smarter now he had learned that she was dead. The colt couldn't imagine what it would be like to lose your mother for it was just too sad to think about. He had lost his father but it didn't feel real sad or nothing like that. If mother ever died he would not know what to do or where to go, or if he could even manage to leave her side. No, she couldn't be left alone not when Levex had left them. Blinking back the moisture that built in his eyes at the thought he listened as the white girl spoke again.

With the words spoken this time they at least contained an answer to the problem he did not know how to solve. He felt bad to see how sad she was and he wanted to help do something. If she couldn't go chase the vultures away, he would do it! What was a vulture? Drawing up blank he figured that he would find out when he got there to chase em away. "Stay here then. I will chase em off." He commented his mind set on what he needed to somehow accomplish not knowing what he would find out there. Would her mother be a zombie and that was why the vulture things were after her? A zombie could be neat! Leaping forward with a spray of dust and water the colt raced across the plains still not knowing what the hell a vulture was. If it pecked things surely it was some type of bird, so they should be easy to chase. Reassuring himself as he ran, while occasionally getting bogged down in a deeper water pool he set his sights on one of the black things up ahead.

The closer he got the bigger the bird seemed to get totally weirding the boy out cause birds were supposed to be small and easy to chase. A couple of feet from it his courage faded as he threw his wings open and sliding to a stop. What in the hell was that thing? It ain't no bird... it looked like a rat that turned into some type of chicken and got run over many times before being chewed up by something and spat out! It was one of the most hideous things he had ever seen in his life! Snorting he watched the creature bobbing around in the sand only seeming slightly spooked by his arrival. They were supposed to fly away not just stand there! Stamping his front hoof he watched it hobble away only to be joined by another couple. Dismayed he jumped forward stomping both front hooves just in front of the ugly dudes. This time some of them took flight but stayed hovering in the air above him and, oh god! The girl's mother! Jumping sideways to avoid coming close to the carcass he forces his eyes to not wander towards it, just chase the vultures, just the vultures. Seeing another one of the buzzards land he once again jumped forward flaring his wings to land nearby. A flash of what looked to be fire shot by him crashing into the dirt a few meters away sending more birds air bound as the darkened patch of earth started sizzling. Hey, that was pretty cool... Grinning devilishly he set his eyes on another pair.
