The traditions were so strange, it made her head spin. Spin more than it already was. A battle had been fought, a new soul residing in her body after she had escaped Pompeii. Different thoughts, awkward memories taking hold that didn’t seem familiar. Some of her own habits fought against the habits of the other soul - but she didn't realize that it was happening. Had her old soul have been in her body as well, she might have noticed. But… it wasn't, so really she just struggled to fully remember the bits and pieces of her past that were slowly coming to her.
Aye, so she had probably gone against the idea of the herd - by leaving it's borders when they were trying to avoid bringing in more diseases. But she needed to see what these things were… what was happening. So, unknowingly, she moved toward the newly found labyrinth. Green stalks shot up from the ground and sunlight filtered in through the canopies. Was this where some of the new souls had crossed in? Was this one of the lands that the Gods had welcomed into their hold? The lands that caused the fighting and pain?
It didn't look that… sinister. But, then again - the world hadn't looked sinister until one saw skeletons walking around, which was exactly what Laedere was being faced with when it came to this sickness.
Oh well. Ardere at least was amused - floating around from row to row and emitting happy chirps.
