E D E N

The sky was a soft composition of reds and pinks, painting her pale bodice in similar hues. She was lying underneath a pine tree, nestled in it's fallen quills. She had just begun to slip into sleep, the world simmering and fading around her.

Then she saw it. A flicker at the edge of her vision, a wisp, a flash of ebony. She opened her eyes wider, annoyed that her sleep was being disturbed, but a bit frightened by the onyx shape that she had seen. She moved backwards, instinctually pulling her legs closer to her stomach, a meek attempt at protecting the child within.

Magical smoking deer thing.

She relaxed, legs splayed out before her. The companion of a familiar friend, Ashamin, stood near. The last time she had encountered the creature it had led her to quite an important meeting. Despite her own lackadaisical demeanor, the deer seemed in no mood to wait around for her. She was albeit a bit curious.

Eden rose, a pathetic struggle ensuing as her legs were unused to carrying such weight. She was getting tired of this whole being pregnant thing. She quite honestly just wanted it out already. She was still unsure of what she would do with it once it was out, but...one battle at a time, right?

The pale mare followed the ebony deer through the snowy land, slipping into the Basin and coming upon the Haruspex's den once again. Besides Ashamin, there was a star coated mare present. She had seen her before, but she was unsure of if they had exchanged names or not. Nevertheless, Eden approached with a sleepy half smile and friendly features.

"Hello," she began upon arriving, "did I miss anything?"
