"Any existence deprived of freedom is a kind of death" -- Michel Aoun As the metal tilted and shifted before her, Ampere used it to wander through a forest without moving. It was an exhausting and often fruitless method, but at times, like this, it rewarded her patience and perseverance. From the shining blade she found what, or rather who, she was looking for. The death-marked face of the raven-mare glowered back at her, and in response Ampere simpered. Using her abilities to pull the blade away from her face, Ampere motioned at the clearing she was within, doing her best to show set land marks. It was an invitation for Isopia to join her, because the girl had certainly not extended the offer towards her - not that Ampere wanted to be there, else she would have already. And what if she doesn't come, won't come? Ampere wasn't so sure then, but she thought she knew Isopia well enough to expect the girl to be up for conversation. One thing the earth child seemed to like was talking, and though Ampere did enough of that on her own, she was rather set on not yelling this time around about something; practice makes perfect. Like her father, isopia didn't react much to others, making her the perfect sounding board for Ampere. Like their elemental natures, Isopia grounded Ampere's more wild affinity, forcing calm and logic into the easily excitable mare. She supposed Maren attempted to do the same thing every time they met, but Isopia had a touch less bitch to her that made it an easier pill to swallow, if not just as annoyingly frustrating. So, Ampere waited, ready to talk. |
