"Any existence deprived of freedom is a kind of death" -- Michel Aoun Isopia hadn't directly agreed (or had she, earlier?), but her continued interest in the project gave Ampere hope that she would fulfill the need. Would there be an expense though? Crafters, she'd surmised, either loved their work so much they were simply glad to share it and fill the wants for it, while others were more akin to traders, offering a service for another. Did Ampere have anything of value to Isopia, much less something she'd be willing to give up? She had given her a knife already, but Isopia had never exactly asked for that. Well, she'd have to wait and see, but she wasn't fond of owing debts either way. "I had one thought," Ampere confessed as Isopia asked of the design. She'd be more than happy to let the crafter perform her work, but since she asked... Ampere pulled the energy from the surrounding dead foliage, ignorant to Isopia's soft spot for vegetation (thought it was already withered), and guided the manifestation of the blue sparks into a shape before them. The appearance was rough, Ampere's medium erratic, the outline often drifting as electricity arced out in snarls and cracks, but she hoped the idea would come across. In the center, a large eye loomed, cradled by wings and topped with a horn. She hoped to convey through the addition of the species' appendages an open-ness to help all horses, while the eye, a constant for all kinds, regaled the world with it's ever present watch-fullness that suggested the group. "Something like that," she muttered as the sparks dissipated with hums and pops, uncertain if it was good. |
