"How do you how much the land was changed if you weren't born?" Ugh she has an answer for everything doesn't she? Before I can speak she goes on. "Oh, that's right. You don't. Pity." I wanted to roll my eyes but I didn't. "I've walked these borders every night since we won this land. I've traveled over these fields, though these cliffs, around waterfalls, all over. I know this land just as well as the land I ruled and you can't tell me otherwise because you don't know." Fine, she wants to think I don't know anything, let her. Maybe now I understand why everyone left. Why so few stuck around for the take over. Cause these newcomers.... They were know it alls! So instead I decided to remain quiet and just listen. Without another word I set off in the direction of our sleeping spot. Last thing I needed was the mare coming to wake me up whenever she wanted. Bad enough I was probably going to be going on patrols with her Warriors now.
