He snorts and shakes his head, thick column of leg pawing at the warm soil of Tallsun. His mind roiled in turmoil— the loss of Rexanna over foals that were not even his! He pins his ears, snapping his teeth together loudly. Idiotic. That how he had gotten here. Idiotic choices. And he hadn’t even seen the foals or Nyx since the birthing. It was all for naught—
Suddenly a whinny wormed its way into his flattened ears. It was familiar, and calling for him. He knew who it was. He sighed, weighing if he wanted (or could handle) such an encounter in his current, agitated state.
He shook himself roughly, thick crest slapping the sides of his neck. Of course he could. He rolls into an easy lope, covering ground with athletic ease towards the silver warrior. He sees her, and slows to a trot, then a walk. Deep blue pools study her electric ones for a long moment, before his gaze sweeps to the happily healthy foals frolicking in the field.
“Just one good fuck and I’m at your beck and call,” though he kept the majority of his anger locked away, some harshness found a way into his words— stealing them of the humor he had intended. He sighed, softening his face, "I'm glad to see your twins are so lively and healthy, Nyx." Now the genuineness seeped back into his low voice.
He rests a hindlimb, waiting to see what the impressive mare had to say.
