Zailah
We see the world that we want to see

She was not used to this land. Still in denial one could say. The smell of this new world burning in her nostrils was a smell not unwelcomed, she hoped that those who had rejoiced in the death of her goddess realized that to some, the tigress was a deity, someone who was worshipped and cared for. Quite frankly, Zailah wished these Helovian gods had kept their haughty attitudes out of her home, they were most definitely unwanted and unneeded. She wished she had fought for her goddess, but she was hindered by shock, her years as Queen wasting away at the sight of her deity's tar blood spilling on stones that were going to mean her death.

As time had passed, Zailah had wondered around a bit, letting her clogged mind clear of frustration to come to the bitter understanding that there was nothing that was going to change her future now. She still despised the gods that had torn her home, her life, her family from her, but the citizens no longer bothered her. She supposed that her regal traces had taken over, and helped her realize that the inhabitants of Helovia where just protecting their home, just like she would've. After all, the tigress was no god worthy of her following, if she could not protect her people, then Zailah could not stand by her in death. Only those that were of worth gained her fellowship.

The salty waters lapped at her glowing hooves, the sea mists cooling the warmblood. Her coral eyes caught a pair of horses not to far, ears perking as the glowing mare walked to the small gathering. Figuring that if this was to be her life now, she might as well make use of it. One was stripped, cyan  streaking his mane and his tail was too dipped in the vibrant color. The other was winged, scars noticeably covering his red skin. Zailah dipped her head at the both of them, soft regal words whispering from black lips, "I am Zailah, pleased to be of company." She arrived to hear the last of the striped words, the wince in his words bringing a single ear back, pain was an awful sort. Some weren't strong enough to handle it, and even though she was, she would never wish the mental pain that plagued so many on her worst enemies, it was simply inhumane, that sort of suffering. Looking up, glowing orbs peered into his azure windows, the color reminding her of the seafoam upon a now lost sea, lost with the breaths of her goddess, and her family.

"Aren't we all?"
