Ísfold “Your melody's an art" The small mare walked slowly, her hooves sinking into the soft sand on the beach. The sun wasn't visible due to the clouds that covered the sky but it was still warm enough for the mare that had grown up in blizzards. Even though the events of the past still hunted the small mare she no longer showed the pain resting within her. She never spoke of it as she tried to get rid of those horrid memories. The calm waves of the shore helped relax her mind. Though that was not the reason she headed towards the ocean this time. The mare was uncertain why she had come down here to be honest. She had nothing better to do? Yeah, it was probably something like that.
Her short tail flickered slightly in the breeze that passed by. The mare's ears shifted around trying to catch the sound of a predator nearby, but there were no threatening sounds that alarmed the mare. With a content smile on her lips, the mare closed her eyes, her nose filling with the salty smell of the ocean and the sound of the waves crashing blocked her hearing. Ísfold let all her guards down and she found some peace within herself, something she hadn't done in a long time. It had been a while since the mare entered Helovia, but this new world had given her few reasons to fear. However, she knew, that at some point the fear would settle in again. But while she still felt the absence of fear she would enjoy it. For old times' sake. |
