Eventide is softly casting o'er the earth a magic spell,
And a love-song, everlasting, on the night wind seems to swell.

Erthë had friends. Many friends, even. Some she even remembered the names of. Others took a while before she managed to recall, and more still she had yet to learn of. The world of the moon-loving child was a beautiful, friendly place, despite - or perhaps due to - all the horrors she had witnessed so early in life.

Some friends she saw much too rarely however, and it was with the intention of remedying this that she took to the sky and made her way east, past the northern landbridge and towards the mysterious rocky hills that hid a herdland she had never visited before.

It took her days to find it. Even from the sky the Hidden Falls were truly hidden, obscured by foliage, rocks and frothing streams and a landscape so abundant that the details were lost amidst the sheer variety. Once she did manage to locate the place however, the filly knew with certainty that only this could be the blessed lands of the Earth God. Like his vast, nearly boastful impressiveness there was something breathtaking over the masses of water that rushed over a steep cliff and crashed towards the bottom far below. In a sort of reversed version of the Edge the easternmost herd land was located in a ravine, terraced  and so overgrown with foliage that she couldn't make out more than the steep trail that descended into the vale.

Feeling uncharacteristically nervous, the filly started to follow the path but stopped after only a few yards, very unwilling to incur the wrath of any border patrols. Unlike the Edge, unlike Basin or Throat, she felt a stifling sensation of getting trapped as the trees and rocks towered up around her, the canopy blocking out the sky. It was like a cage, very pretty but somehow inescapable, as though the very land itself (or maybe its inhabitants) might try to keep her there if she stepped out of line.

Swallowing anxiously the girl looked about, porcelain feet trampling the path indecisively. After hesitating over it for some time she called out, her voice a soft, misty bleat that was swallowed up by thickets of yellowing leaves.

How could anyone live here? Even in the moist, misty Edge there was more air, more sky, more everything!

She hoped someone would come soon, it was not fun to be alone here at all.

@Murtagh - she's coming to visit <3
