 Ktulu's ears were pinned against her skull as Archibald's weight crashed down on her. In the seconds before he had come down she'd braced her legs, unwilling to allow his weight to make her legs buckle and send her to the ground. She would not end this fight in the dirt with Archibald standing above her victorious. The dark mare expected the Czar to keep moving, to keep attacking her. She had counted on his weight shifting away from her just enough so she could could send her hooves flying at his face, but Ktulu had never been particularly lucky when it came to her fights with Archibald. He always did the unexpected and this time would prove to be no different. She snorted, and her head turned so she could peer at the massive stallion over her shoulder as she felt his forelegs grasping at her hips. The stinging bites at her withers followed and Ktulu found herself instinctively shifting her weight to widen her stance so she could accept Archibald as comfortably as possible. Somewhere beneath the desire that increased with each nip she knew that what they were doing wasn't totally right. She wasn't Circe. He wasn't Lakota. Despite that fact she still wanted him. She still wanted everything he had to offer her even if it was only for a few minutes, even if he only saw Circe when he looked at her. Ktulu remained silent as Archibald's weight slipped from her back and only when he finally settled his bulk on the ground then she moved. She took one step, then another, and another, then she finally turned to face the stallion. What had just happened, though it had been thoroughly satisfying and not unwelcome, had not been her intent when she'd challenged him to a fight. The sole purpose had been to prove her prowess to him, but it had moved far beyond that. Together they had crossed a line that neither of them would be able to step back from. "Who do you see when you look at me?" She caught herself asking and she hoped that he would not say Circe when he answered her. "." |
