The thick canopy allowed little to pass through in the forest, the time of day tricking her underneath the shadows of the trees the loomed over her. She enjoyed the darkness though, it was easier to see when the brightness of the world didn't blind her. She was never one that preferred the light of day, no Zandora was a vixen of the night. Evara seemed to like it too, the leopard was actually found awake for once, the young child already expressing quite the side of laziness.

The filtered light shined on the clear waters, red gems glittering underneath the rays. She stopped to drink, her tongue dry of travels. As she bent her head down so that she might lap up the glistening water, Evara hoped off her back and landed quite ungracefully(and very wetly) into the pond. Ears flipped back as cold water dripped off her face, the leopard holding an amused face as she paddled through the translucent waters. Zandora tried to be mad, but she found that it was quite hard at the disposal of Evara's puppy eyes. Sighing, she beckoned the leopard to shore. Lightly grabbing the cub's pelt, she placed Evara underneath a great trunk, the forest forage making a bed so that the she might sleep. "Go to sleep now little one." She spoke tenderly, eyes returning to the pond as she watched the light bounce of the red stones.

"Talk?"
