It's amazing what history does to you. Is it a golden pathway to walk upon? Or a signpost? Is it a spotlight, or a shadow? Certainly its different things for different people. For Tae? It was all of the above.

A golden path, heralded in fire and electricity, for she was the first (known to all) child of Gaucho and Ampere. Of course she didn't know that fact, but later it would certainly shape her. And those two left a pre-paved path for her to tred, should she follow it. All along her life's short journey were shadows and highlites of her parents. Of what they had done, what they stood and fell for, what they had accomplished. It made Tae's mouth water in its all encompassing brilliance and ability to drown her. Could she live up to them? Would she? Was she capable? Would she fail? Succeed? Triumph? Oh no; but what she would do, was surpass them.

Everyone dreams to be greater than their parents were. To match their worth and magnify their greatness. But Tae's dreams where not so common. She meant to leave Ampere and Gaucho in the dust, for she had something that neither of them did. She had a sister, a twin. A partner in crime, and a compass pointed towards success.

She would not be stunted by her lineage, instead, she would sheer it away so that only her name (and Grusha's of course) were remembered.

"Silently-" She whispered to the black wolf pup who ran ahead. Mal was tired of hunting for today, and yet Tae convinced him to work even harder and longer. He was exhausted, beat, done, yet her mind said that they should go on and on and on. He didn't want to until--

--do you hear that? She asked silently in his mind. He nodded readily, and both silently stalked forward. Simultaneously, wolf and filly burst into the clearing, hoping that whatever they had stalked this far, was something they could kill.
