"Where brilliance is good and madness is better..."
Helovia Info
Helovia opened in February 2012! We are an active fantasy equine RPG
Where once the world narrowed into naught but gray dust and desolation, the gods called for life. Wielding the elements of fire and light, dark and wind, earth and water, spark and time, they have created Helovia. The realm is set within the mythical globe of Loorien, a planet rich with all variety of creatures and blessed with all manner of magic. Originally populated by nomadic, tribal characters, they've since grown into massive empires saturated with culture and history. Separated into four distinct segments of Helovia, called "The Regions," each band of horse strong enough and capable enough, took up the power and responsibility of leadership. Unicorns, old, wise and mysterious, took to the north, hidden in forests of mists and shadows and rarely making themselves known beyond their cliffs of the World's Edge. Equines, vast, organized and militaristic, split into two, one group went north to the Windtossed Foothills and the other group went south to the Dragon's Throat. Pegasus remained nomadic, making their homes in various parts of The Wilds in a migratory manner. For many generations, the land was peaceful and calm, but peace was never the way of the gods. With a clash of argument, war and bloodshed massacred Helovia, and in the aftermath, the realm was eerily quiet. Now, as newcomers sweep into this land, they are met with the lingering bitterness of the gods and the struggle to reclaim what was lost. Nothing remains safe or certain while sorcerers and soldiers alike brood and bide their time for revenge, honor and glory.

Doppleganger Plot ☼ - 6/20/13 - The God of Time is still struggling to close the rift though which the dopplegangers have come. He has requested that his brothers and sister assist in closing this hole, but without knowing why it opened, the task is proving difficult. Magic still remains faulty and hard to control, but the herdlands continue to be places of refuge for those who are fortunate enough to call these lands home.
ORANGEMOON cools off the lands with a a viscious force. Colder than normal, a sign of things to come during Frostfall, Helovia is bathed in a rich tropical lushness - albiet a cold one. The coastlines of the Dragon's Throat are pelted constantly by tidal waves, and the desert climate is humid but chilly. Ice begins to form early in the Aurora Basin leaving the winding trails slick and dangerous. The mists of the World's Edge coat everything in a glistening crystalline shine which encourages mould to grow everywhere. The Spectral Marsh is the only area which remains fertile, blissfully temperature and lush.

Character of the Month for
June, 2017
WEAVER, Corporal of the Aurora Basin, is a relatively recent addition to Helovia and has taken it by storm. Branded with the seal of Death on her chest, intrigue and interest follow both her past and present. Though she is assuredly beautiful, her sometimes sharp personality reveals that there is more to this uni-peg hybrid than meets the eye. Proving herself able on the battlefield in the Basin’s warrior ranks, we can’t wait to see her test her mettle against the looming Kaos happenings! Congratulations!

Abaddon
All men have secrets…
The gaze of the charcoal soldier hit the ivory bodice of his little demon as his voice stopped speaking, her lobes directed towards him whilst he had spoken. And he was hit back with a smile that gave off a warmth that he had not felt ever. Not once in his lifetime had someone actually given him the kindness of a smile, and for some reason the little fae that stood before him did so and this was something that became etched in his soul: that first smile. Glasgow was undoubtedly a creature of interest to Abaddon and this only fuelled his hunger to keep her even further. Even the hellboy was unable to determine whether keeping his little demon meant as a "friend", a companion or even just as a trophy, but something sparked within him that she had ignited.
She had seemingly given up arguing as she actually only spoke one word to him in a tone of almost a whisper, the fight he had pummelled out of her through his own words of persuasion. This gave the long conversation they were having worth it and now he knew all along that he was ready to take her as his own in their vow to bind to one another. Why, he did not care to ask. Glasgow had her reasons and he had his hunger. His lobes switched towards her and every other part of the environment was swept aside as the ivory fae continued to be everything his attention needed to feed on. And his heavy bodice felt stiff with standing still for so long but he did not feel the pain, only the calming tingling feeling that came with satisfaction. And during his rambling thoughts, Glasgow continued to speak as she had guessed his name through another smile and this time he took the liberty to attempt a smile back. It looked sinister but underneath there was the tiniest feeling of enjoyment at throwing himself to another. No one had been a dependant for him, not even his own mother...
"I like Lucifer better. You can be my demonic fallen angel."
This hit him with the same force as the smile, but in a different way - this felt like hunger from her side. The dirtied ivory had grown from a sad little suicide to a devious little demon and he was ready to be the demonic angel she wanted, provided they both kept to their ends of the bargain. And Abaddon never failed on his promises. The smiles were reciprocated this way and that before Abaddon spoke with the same tone as he had throughout their meeting,
"Consider me yours, little demon." His words opened up something within his pools that felt like a wide new world that he was crossing into, and his companion would easily spot that change in the fiery eyes that lit with something that burned brighter than his lust for chaos. He did not mind that she was provoking him with the name, he actually liked it. Lucifer, it was fitting.
He could almost feel the apprehension as he suggested that Glasgow bind herself to him, and he to her, but she took it with a pinch of salt seemingly and requested the process. He gave her one more long smile that protruded into an almost psychotic one, with the tips of his velveteens curling into a sinister grin that almost gave away the excitement on his dark mutilated skull, "The ritual of sharing blood. We share blood and become bound by that until we eventually-" Abaddon hesitated, giving a need for his next set of words to happen immediately, "give our souls to one another as well as our bodies." Would she agree...?
