A deep sigh of relief flooded from the fae's nostrils, surprising even her. She hadn't realized that it meant so much to her to be accepted. Well, not accepted yet, she amended. But one step closer. And she had a new friend to show for it, which was another pleasant surprise. Perhaps she wasn't cut out to be the loner that she'd thought that she was. Perhaps there was a greater calling for her. The thought that there was more was another surprise: she had always accepted her role as just what it was, never thought that perhaps there was a bigger picture in which she fit perfectly. Never thought that perhaps she was only a pawn in the gods' games, only a piece on the board of the game of life. How existential. A smile graced her lips. "Then I will greatly enjoy accompanying you, my friend," she informed Rowan. Unable to help herself, she added a bit of humor to the comment: "But don't tell the clouds, they will miss me terribly." The good humor was accompanied by a tossing of the head, banner floating gently in the breeze. She fought the urge to run and leap into flight, as was her common reaction to pleasure; she would accompany her friend on foot back to the Throat, and would pray for acceptance once she arrived.
