Nizho did not know where his sister was going, but she sure as hell was not going without him. Outside of the Dragon's Throat who would protect her? Only him, he knew that somehow, deep down in his fiery chest. Sneaking out of the borders was an art of him, something Mordecai taught him when he was still shaky on his long, thin legs. He was stronger now, aging but still blessed with youthful determination and gall. So he followed his sister, his wombmate, his twin carefully but strongly. His coldfire eyes never left her, until she descended into the mouth of a cave, however. Snorting, the colt trotted briskly toward the entrance and followed the filly with a fearless stupidity. Of all places, closed off, underground, sunless places should be where pegasi were most cautious. He knew that, and he grumbled mentally about Asaavi threatening her own safety.

When he finally found her in the tunnels and rooms and the catacombs, she was resting and talking to herself. Nizho snorted again, digging a cloven hoof into the stoney floor like a bull before crushing a matador. "Asaavi!" He growled, irked at her odd behaviour. What in the hell was she doing, taking a nap in this cold dark and damp cave?! What if something tried to eat her for Sun's sake! Groaning he strode toward her, each hoofstep passionate and purposeful. "Ave would have your head if he knew you made me follow you into a cave." He wanted to say fucking cave like Mordecai would have, but the crass tongue of their older sister often made Asaavi turn sour and Nizho did not want that--he simply wanted to scold her. "What are you doing down here?" He asked, tail flicking behind him and wings ruffling. He tilted his head curiously toward her, though the gunmetal and fire still raged behind dark lashes. He looked to the stones, confusion racking him and making his eyebrows knit together.
