A thief? That pasty white twinkie of a horse was a thief? Thieves were supposed to be cunning, mischievous, and their coats blacker than the night. He'd never met one that he knew about, but wasn't that sort of the point? They worked in the shadows, behind the scenes, and they certainly didn't blab their status to any passerby who happened to ask.

She seemed almost drunk, from the way she leaned on the stallion beside her and fawned over him without a care. Would she have supplied her rank so easily under different circumstances? Did it matter? What else--

"Do you mind?"

He gave Albrecht a hard glare. Was it so hard to keep his hooves to himself in mixed company? Gross he was probably the type that liked an audience. He looked just about five seconds from just climbing aboard and setting sail. That was literally the last thing Ezital ever wanted to see. There simply was not enough eye bleach in the entire land of Helovia to erase that image once it was burned into his retinas.

There was no intel worth staying for if things continued the way they were headed. Whatever he'd collected already would have to be enough. He chanced another glance at the stallion to see if his words had made any sort of impression on him. Ugh, no of course not. He visibly cringed and averted his gaze.

"Yeah," he snorted. "I'm out."

He gave the heat of the fire one last, longing glance, before turning on his heel and heading back the way he came. The Falls beckoned, and he had an appointment with it's champion.
