a new world, material without being real,

where poor ghosts, breathing dreams like air, drifted fortuitously about

A single curvaceous ear flicked to the side, the rest of her dainty, exotically lined head soon following. She smiled, excitement bubbling in her chest. The silver figure that approached was one she knew, the one who lead her here, and so in a way, lead her to Hero. The small dragon chirped at her side, landing on her poll, confusion rolling off his mind in waves.

The duchess had little interest in her bonded at that time, though. It had been seasons she had last seen the silver stallion, and she was eager for him to see how she had changed. Her leonine tail curled around her hocks, the ends dusted lightly with mud. Flowers and petals drifted quietly out of her tail and mane, though they were soon replaced by new buds and blossoms. He knew of her magic to heal, but not this, not how it had magnified since she had began her life in Helovia.

In short, she was more than pleased to see him. "Ciceron! Geia sou fíle mou!" She stated softly, slipping into her native tongue without even noticing it, for her eagerness had overtaken her mind. She offered the stallion a polite nod, stepping closer to her herdmate. Her gaze flicked to Kiara, picking her way delicately through the muddy ground. Her own bonded trilled from his hold on his head, blue eyes wide at the sight of the unfamiliar creature. 'Tiger. She is called Kiara,' the doctor commented to her bonded, causing the dragon to grow quiet as he contemplated whether or not to get closer to the big cat. He was, after all, much smaller than she. Agnodice ignored her companion, gave a smile and a nod to Kiara before she flicked her attention back to the stallion. "Gathering herbs," The doctor replied, glancing to her pathetically empty basket. A disheartening sight, but she had only just arrived. She had time to catch up with Ciceron before she began, though, didn't she?

"And what of you; what brings you here? You look well," She commented cheerily, oceanic gaze bright. The dragon perched on her poll, flower clutched tightly in his black claws, tugged at her mane, yearning for attention. "Have you met Hero?" She stated with a forced smile as the reptile continued to tug at her hair. He trilled at the sound of his name, letting loose the hold on her hair and hopping from his perch into the air, flying around the unfamiliar pair, flower still in his claws. He was showing off, for he had just learned of flight.
