His black body stood in the woods blending with the shadows, hiding from the world around him. He stayed near the edge of the fields that seemed to peaceful, so pure. His demonic crown moved moved watching a flock of birds scatter from the sticks. Then peaceful creatures flew from the fields in front of him. The small bird creatures ran for life from the ground. Pale eyes wondered around the field to try to find what they were running from. A sigh left his maw as the hidden demon crept closer to the edge of the woods. Cracked hooves came to a halt when they saw the child running for its life through the lush grass lands. What was it running from? Then his attention drew to the creature chasing it.

A weak starving wolf ran after the child. Its muscles were underdeveloped and it was clearly, a sick creature. The large demonic crown shook as his gaze focused on the beast. He wanted it to feel like it was rotting. The wolf thought it knew what death felt like, but now it would really know. Stone cold orbs narrowed concentrating on the starving predator. The beast just became pray to something in the shadows, something much more powerful than it can ever imagine. Nox thought of the body laying on the ground rotting and the damned birds of death flying above the smelling corps. He thought about the wolf feeling its insides implode and fall from the rotting flesh. Nox wanted the beast to feel his exposed bones hit the crisp frostfall air. Then after the magic was cast Nox roared from the bush.

Gray eyes looked above as a winged beast fell from the sky. He was like a fallen angel, and Nox was the rising demon. The wings spread to try and stop the wolf in its tracks. The black stag gained speed as he ran full speed to the wolf's left side. The sharp ram like horns lowered to ram the beast, and truck him over with his powerful muscles. Nox knew if his magic had effected the wolf it would slow the creature, and bring it to more pain than it could ever imagine. With the winged buckskin blocking the path in front of the wolf, the attack could be very successful. Gray eyes kept watch on the little child running as Nox grew closer and closer to the target. Then his gray eye caught the sight of the buckskin stag to the right of him. He hoped this plan worked...

Right as he passed in front of the stag a white mare came from the shadows, she came from no where. His hooves slid to a stop as she came right in front of his path, he almost hit her instead. His agile body smacked the wolf's before he halted. Cracked hooves came to a stop as his large crown turned to look at the white mare, then the stallion. Cold eyes gave a haunting look over each creature. A winged creature, a bare woman, and a horned demon all wanted to save this child; a child that is not theirs. He looked over to see the woman now speak to the little one. His deep latin tones spoke to the winged man. " Mortuus Nox, what is your name ?" His cold voice filled the air as his head dipped to the man. Eyes wondered off on the child, wondering if it was okay. He was a healer if it was needed, but it looked fine. "If the child needs healing, I should be able to help it." His voice directed to the mare next with another dip of his crowned skull.

"Talk."
