Reasons 'Judging' is the Department of Champions
- It doesn't require a lot of time every day. It takes about 60-90 minutes to judge a fight, sometimes longer, but we don't judge every day.
- It doesn't matter if you don't totally understand the judging department at this point, because you will be trained until you are comfortable! Judging is more based on an understanding of grammar and realism than it is on the dice.
- Because we post all judgings privately for review, before posting them publicly, you get to know the results before everyone else on the site!
- You get to play a hand in determining the fate of stealth attempts.
- You get to know the judging system inside and out, so you may become a better sparer yourself.
- If you want to help the other departments you can, but if you don't want to that's alright too.
- Time is the head of this department and she LOVES TEACHING and she LOVES watching others SUCCEED, so she will work hard to invest in you and your learning as a JA!
