In the Birdsong dark, everything feels sticky and soft. Knox pushes through it, his figure cloaked and his charge blinded behind him. His teeth clench over a long red vine, something given to his prisoner in the dark as a guide.

"Take this and you will see again."

More of a threat than a comforting welcome, but doesn't this business always have some bite? His tail is silken, red, and white--falls beautifully from his hind and barely stirs with his motion. It was a slow walk but now they are here, the wind low and the night full with a glowing, pinkish moon. Knox shrugs Huric's weighty shoulders and lets out a bellowing neigh--a call for his brother, alone.

The duty falls upon him, then, to turn to his captive. The beast is impressive; broad with his wings and built, it seems, for battle. No wonder Knox has chosen this form to face him, young as it may be.

The magic he has cast on the stallion, a silver thread of smoke, pulls away with a simple tug of Knox's essence just after Knox discards his shadowy cloak and reveals Huric's rose form. He has a warm smile ready--as welcoming as he can manage. "We're here," Knox says with a non-threatening step closer. The other stallion is likely disoriented, finding himself in a new place and suddenly in the throes of night's embrace.

"Stay calm. I am Huric, and these are the Hidden Falls."

He pauses, as if considering. What to say?

{Huric:} Tell him...
{Roanne:} Tull hum he uhs safe.

Another pause, a soft nod to the self. "You are safe here."
