Gaucho listened as Meg prattled off a roster of diplomatic line-items, and he had to force his lips to remain still. He remembered meeting Meg for the first time, seasons and seasons ago now, and he wondered if either of them would have believed where she would eventually end up. Not the dun hadn't always had full confidence in her abilities as a warrior and a loyal follower of the Sun, but that she would end up as a diplomat? A mother, time and time again? Now the bone in his muzzle did twitch slightly as he exhaled a breath that wanted to turn into a laugh.

He had nothing to add to the meeting-items she listed. After all, she had called this meeting, not him, and so he allowed her to continue on as she had been doing. He listened silently, bobbing his head when appropriate, but kept more or less still.

As her gaze and focus turned to him, his dark ears perked forward.

"All are fine." Gaucho rumbled with an appreciative nod. He was glad that Mesec was seeking help - and even more pleased that Meg was going to accompany him. The Wildfire didn't know much about the Nightwind, but he did know that Ampere approved of him, and seemingly continued to do so even when he became an aggressive monster. Though given her fondness for him, he wasn't too surprised that she had that capacity.

"Shieraki gori ha yeraan." He mumbled to her thoughtfully, as if she was going into battle. Which, for all either of them knew, she was. Gaucho dipped his antlered skull appreciatively towards her, before moving off to where a few of his children had gathered.
