Holding me closer, until our eyes meet. You won't ever be alone, wait for me to come home.

The rocky formations where a virulent host, some even fell into death's clutches up here. Arah knew the area for it's attic climate and the area where she'd almost never made it home from. Her gaze studied the land around her, a bitter and twisted smile turned her chops. Since finding a happier existence she'd been unable to fight the urge of returning here. Her gaze was stuck on the place where she'd met Crowley. Or rather he'd come up to her, the two perfect beings that followed and shortly after that the shattering of her soul. This was the place it had all began, yet she'd learnt to become thankful for the time she'd spent with her children rather than regretting every other moment. Still, that was a part of her that would perhaps never heal - it was a cavern that could not be filled by any amount of lovers, new children or even time. That was how she wanted it, she'd never forget them but the pain no longer debilitated her.

With a sigh she turned from the spot choosing to leave it undisturbed. her hooves made their way with care over the unseen dangers that laid underneath the snow. Wynter circled ahead, her white body shined against the open skies. After a few moments feelings of excitement rippled through their bond, somebody was ahead. The doe weaved her was around a corner and laid her golden eyes upon the dark figure in the distance. His body was dark, with sliver lighting up his stomach and face. Magnificent wings hung as his sides while a twisting horn pierced the air ahead of him. Smiling softly to herself she began to shorten the distance between them. She'd known this colt before, not well mind you. Perhaps this was an opportunity to truly learn about the other, something she should have done the first time they'd crossed paths. It had been quite sometime ago however, she'd been young and wondered if the colt would ever recognise her. Unlikely.

Arriving closer to him she still maintained some distance between them, some came up here to escape conversation rather. The company of strangers was definitely something they were not seeking. This would also give him the opportunity to become aware of her presence if he was not already. "Hello." Soft, harmonic vocals danced through the wintery air towards the young, handsome stag. Still she continued to study him with interest, impressed by the way both strength and innocence mixed and danced within his eyes. "It's sometimes rather lonely up here, isn't it?" Turning to look out upon the world again she observed the snow dancing and spinning on top of the land. Wynter landed almost silently beside Arah, her keen eyes watching the stag. The griffin know that there was another creature around, it had been close before and know she wished to track it. Though, loyally she'd reminded behind to watch over the silver doe and this son of night.
