As she twirled around the feathers and responded, he was entranced. He knew that those feathers were of dead pegasi before she said it, and when she confirmed it, he smiled. Then and there he knew he wanted to do the same, cause pain and spill the blood of those that were unworthy of living in the Edge. He wasn’t surprised that he was racist, for he had the embers long before he was grown, when his parents were still living. Now there seemed to be a roaring fire within him, and he wouldn’t stop until he cleared them out. ALL of them. He looked back at the mare beside him, and wondered if she felt the same.
“Really, and how did that come to be? I’m in a mood for a long story, if you wish to share it, of course.” He looked at her closely then, seeing the blaze dimmer than before. He caught a hint of something else, like he did with Sandman, and wondered if she also was hiding a personality behind those beautiful eyes.
Beautiful eyes? He mentally hit his head on the ground. She was very pretty though, and he felt a sort of attraction to her, and he didn’t quite know why.
