Isopia
Isopia noticed none of the what the small boy might or might not have been thinking. Carefully social scrutiny was not her strong point, and she did not want to stare overly-long at the boy with Volterra's face. He breathes frost and electricity? Isopia's quad horned skull bobbed diplomatically. "He does. " She replied in her normal neutral cadence, rather surprised by how easily it flowed from her lips, in light of who the child surely belonged to. Given that he was the subject of their conversation, Hubris moved forward. His bronzey wings stretched out from his sides as he slunk with a cat-like grace towards the boy. "He is called Hubris." Isopia answered. For a moment she considered transforming herself into a dragon, to show the bronze how foolish it was to try and whistle using the grass, but the boy seemed to have diverted his attention away from the dragon's act, to the dragon himself. That was fine with her. Hubris gave a trill and a wave at the skull-marked boy. He blew a large stream of haphazard frost, followed by a stream of glistening sparks. A wide toothy grin was plastered on his features as he demonstrated his capabilities. "Clearly his name is quite apt." Isopia mumbled more to herself, than to Tyrath. She shook her death-marked face slowly, as if visually reprimanding the small creature, but she wasn't really. He could do what he wanted, try and fail if he liked. It didn't matter much to her. "You seem..young, to have flown here from the mainland. Did you swim?" Isopia first observed, and then inquired. It wasn't small talk exactly, she was genuinely curious, but she supposed it carried on the conversation just the same. |
