The bramble thicket had been at the edge of his mind for days. How would they remove it? His own magic of molten elephants, while he now had enough control over it, seemed unwise to use to eradicate the thorny brambles. His mind turns to the dream nightmare that had plagued him, of the Edge ablaze and the members throwing themselves off the cliffs to escape the inferno. And Hawezi—
He shook his great skull abruptly to clear his thoughts, thick limbs and great hooves biting deeper in the the mist-dampened soil as he cut through the fog to approach the thicket in question. He was tired of thinking about this task, instead wanting to actually do something about it.
Though his long strides cut short as he finally happened upon the outer edges of thickening growth. The thick fog had shielded sound, scent, and sight from him so it was with entire surprise that he saw others already gathered. Namely, Elsa, his Queen. The Icebound he had broken; his ears tilted back as his gaze averted only to find Alysanne, the Moon Doctor that perhaps held even less love for him.
Thick lips press together as he turns towards the third gathered; it must be the Korofi man that Orithia had mentioned to him. His stark white face and raptor eyes certainly told of the plateaus. And there was something feral about the way he attacked the ice-shrouded plants (that must be Elsa’s doing), that infused nearly all of the Korofi’s movements. It was hard notice until you’d seen them in training or battle, and then it was all you noticed about them.
He sighed, hovered a few yards away, torn between attacking the work that needed to be done and wanting to give the Queen distance from himself.
