The colt felt a dark thrill fill his barrel and race up his spine as the palely beautiful mare dipped her brow an greeted him with a ”Your Highness.” A smirk flashed across his foal-fuzz muzzle, before settling in as easily lopsided grin (a gift from his still-absent father). And he feels another thrill (this one of accomplishment rather than the from the trappings of power) as surprise steals across her face before answer his question. He was glad to have caught her off guard. Though the answer was not as exciting as he had hoped for from unsuspecting honesty. But it was then his turn to be surprised as she turned his question back on him. Especially when the milk-dipped woman of bluish highlights mentioned his sister—answering her own question without intending to. His crooked grin faded and his black rimmed ears laid back; bright blue eyes leaving her lavender eyes to glance across the twinkling star’s shine on her shimmering skin.
He bit the inside of one check with his milk teeth, uncertain how to word his answer. Kiada was better at conversing with others, while his talents lay with commanding and issuing effective insults (of course, often paired with use of his magic). And so his youth brought truth to his lips while his character brought dark derision, “Kia is spending time with other foals” he nearly spat the words, “Leaving me to explore without her.”
And then he fell into a surly silence, bright blue glare leaving her face for the blinking stars above. His tail twitched at his haunches, a scowl shadowing his young, bright face. “Do you walk alone at night a lot?” his question was nearly muttered to the stars, though was directed at his stargazing partner—attempting to not think of his sister.
