“Hello.”
She listened as the Haruspex dipped her head to the siblings. She plastered a smile onto her face, doing her best to contain her excitement until after Frost Fyre had spoken of what the mirror did. All Kiada could do was watch in amazement as she moved to the side, her body showing the mirror that didn’t reflect anything, but as the mare began to speak her curiosity was heightened. “Only you?” She began to whisper, ears flicking back toward Kianzo as he approached the mirror. His own caramel hues reaching her ears and she followed his steps, forgetting about the anger and frustration that had laced their relationship prior. She leaned into him, her eyes drifting from the mirror to Frost Fyre.
“How do you talk to a God?” She asked, her tail wiggling in excitement as her gaze landed on the spotted mare. “Is he like us? Or do you have to have magic to talk to him?” She questioned, in a case of rapid fire curiosities. Her ebony head lowered to look to Kianzo, her other half, with wide excitement. Maybe today would be the day they got to meet the Gods, those that even from a young age, they strived to be. Ivory markings reflected the light among the dark confines of the cave as Khairi bounded up beside them, looking and leaning toward the hyena cub just as Kiada did to Kianzo. His raptor eyes danced around, learning of all the differences and changes that might occur if they were to summon a god. Kiada began to wonder what it would be like, as well. Would they be transported to a portal to speak with the gods? Or would he just magically appear before them in all his magical and mysterious glory? Perhaps Frost Fyre might have an answer, and so her gaze trailed back to the mirror and to the Haruspex in her innocent curiosities.
