"They never returned?" Sarabi pads off to the red water as he speaks. That is the only thing he says at the moment. I take a deep breath. This will be the first time I really speak of my parents to anyone. I haven't allowed myself to give this information out. But how am I supposed to be anyone's friend if I do not give out the very information that could hurt me. "My Father never returned. My mother was murdered in the Meadow."
