The stallion had admittedly not been around the Throat much lately, and in doing such had abandoned some close friends. Friends like Sia. She didn't deserve his awful treatment of abandoning her... Friends didn't just do that. A sigh escaped the stallion as he laid on the ground, legs bundled beneath him and neck stretched out against the stone on the rocky outcropping he often found himself on these days. Silky mane lay tangled against his neck as a soft whicker escaped him. His large wings were spread to the side, away from his body to prevent him from getting too warm in the heat of the day. The stallion's companion, Veri hovered nearby, trying to comfort his bonded. But Hector didn't want to be comforted. He needed to make things right with his friend. Set things straight. So that was what got him to his feet, all 18.3 hands of him. Wings clutched back against his side as he raised his head into the air and called for Sia. They needed to talk, it had been too long since they had talked. Veri hovered over his back, trying to provide comfort for his bonded companion. The boggart continued to speak soft words through the bond, trying to tell Hector that everything would be okay. He snorted and tossed his head. "Hush Veri. I know you are trying to help, but please stop. I can handle this." Hector said softly to his companion. The fiery strands of the stallion's mane tossed around his head as he stood on the rocky outcropping, awaiting Sia's arrival. After all, this could be what they needed to reconnect as friends. The liver stallion had no idea what Sia had been up to, or even how she'd been. He would be lying if he said he wasn't worried about this meeting between the two of them once again. |
