"Throat very hot and waters falling too not friendly!" The soothsayer told the birds lazily perched on her antlers; she wasn't used to them not replying. In the country she had been raised, all animals spoke the common tongue - Even some of the smarter kinds of mice. The splashed lady was complaining to the volery about how she was yet to find her place in Helovia. She had journey here from so far away under the illusion that it would be the perfect burial site for her sister remains until they were in fact stolen during her trek through the threshold; and not only that, but Tuppence also had been told it would make a wonderful home for her once she had completed her task. Home? Home was where your friends and family were waiting. The moody mare had been greeted at the throat with naught but strange looks, and even rudeness at the falls. Both of these places were not homes.

And so the gypsy travelled again, singing with her unique, scratchy voice (haunting as her singing was, it was somewhat wonderful) from dawn until dusk. The spooky songs filled the forest until the sun had bid its farewells and mother moon had begun her watch, Tuppence finally finding a place to rest by a lake. Songs still fell from the womans mouth as she waded into the pristine water to wash the days sweat and dirt away - her company of three birds had left for the shelter of trees long ago, and so finally she felt she had the right amount of privacy to shed her jewelry and soak. Another tradition where she was from - being uncovered by jewels was a site for your mated partner only.

Scooping back the skull and coin-laiden leather strings onto her antlers the sooty maiden turned her attention to finding an adequate berry bush or some source of food. She thanked the moon in song now as she walked for providing a wonderful amount of light this night - perhaps it was a full moon? Tuppence could not tell, either it was a wonderful whole and full moon tonight or it was just a day away. How lonely she felt though - she longed for her family, for any company who would talk back without rudeness.
