Evangeline & Tallis
It wasn't surprising that the orange mare and her companion were drawn to the commotion. Usually a commotion meant that someone needed healing, but she was surprised and relieved to find that no one seemed to be injured. She was wholly unaware of the happenings within the Edge, having chosen to keep to herself ever since the herd meeting -- it was something she needed to rectify because she knew she couldn't be an asset if she didn't know what was going on.
Her eyes studiedd the glass that everyone seemed to be taking turns attacking before her gaze drifted to Tembovu. She hadn't even spoken to him since returning and whils she didn't want to feel guilty she did. Her tail flicked and she walked toward the king while Tallis' attention stayed fixed on the glas. He wanted so badly to join in and see if he could shatter any of the glass.
"Tembovu.." Eva said in greeting once she'd reached the king. Another mare was already there, however, and so the orange mare waited politely for her turn to speak with the king. As she did she found herself watching the glass again, though her interested wasn't nearly as piqued as Tallis' was. His whole body was taut and ready to explode toward the glass so he could test his own strength against it.
"But why?" Evangeline asked her companion.
'Everyone else is.' Was the dragon's only retort.
Before she could tell him not to, Tallis had pushed himself off of her back and was flying toward the glass. He hovered in the air before it and as he did his maw opened and a thick cloud of toxic smoke billowed forth toward the glass.
Evangeline's ears tilted back and she frowned because she didn't understand the purpose of what was happening. She turned her head back toward Tembovu, still frowning. "What's going on?"
