Naerys is late to the party, as usual. She's spent so much time on her own and away from the Edge lately that she's missed out on the recent commotion. She is absolutely behind on herd news and she hates it. So, as Orangemoon arrives to soften the sweltering heat of Tallsun, the girl sets out to reacquaint herself with the herd activities. With Petyr flying ahead, flitting effortlessly through the trees, it isn't long before a few loud banging sounds crack through the atmosphere - effectively drawing her in. Her rather vibrant companion bolts ahead to find the source of the noise and fairly quickly finds the group with Tembovu at its' (metaphorical) center. Petyr settles into a nearby tree and sends his position mentally to Naerys even though she didn't need him to.

The brown and white lady arrives on the scene in time to see (and hear) the young colt smash his head into a glass target, stumble backwards a few steps, then glance around him with a look of... what is it she caught a glimpse of? Pride? The boy seemed to be seeking praise for head-butting a glass target. His abrupt actions caused Naerys to pause several feet outside of the group and the expression on his face merely left her feeling puzzled. That is, until her teal gaze fell onto the familiar form of Tembovu. Conflicting emotions begin to bubble up within her but before she they can reach the surface and explode from her with the force of a hurricane, Petyr's voice (though raspy) rings loud and true in her mind - effectively soothing and redirecting her. 'Calm.' he begins, 'Only testing glass strength.' and the green bird flutters down to land upon one of the remaining targets. He digs his claws into it, creating thin, shallow scratches in the surface before bending over to peck at the front of the target.

Of course, Petyr managed only minor damage to the glass targets but that was to be expected. He is merely a normal bird, after all. He is quick and clever but a bird his size would never be capable of shattering a glass target. So with his attempt accomplished, he flutters back up to his tree and sends a mental nudge to Naerys - to encourage her to give it a try. Perhaps she could take some of her anger out on the glass? Sighing softly, the brown and white pegasus lowers her head to grasp the leather hilt of her dagger in her teeth before approaching the two damaged targets. With as much strength as she can muster, she slashes the steel blade at the glass - attempting to gouge or otherwise damage the target. The impact of the blade on the glass surface was a somewhat surprising sensation given that she'd never used her dagger before. Naerys then moves back to the outer edges of the group and silently adjusts her grip on the leather hilt.
