Ktulu's movement halted and she turned to look at Birch stone faced. "It would be unwise for you to test your theory and be proven correct." she said coldly. She was confident, to say the least. Her ability was one she was proud of and found extremely useful. Who could battle when they could not get enough oxygen to sustain their breathing and aid their body?

Wisps of her pale tail snaked through the air and smacked against her dark legs, her crimson eyes narrowed on the tree beast that she had felled moments before. "You speak of respect and yet your face and eyes show no such thing. Hypocrite." The Constrictor stood her ground as she spoke. She did not feel it her right to take life away from someone else, but she would not hesitate to do it if she deemed it necessary. Had Birch not been foolish enough to throw the first punch she would not have used her magic on him, but instead used words and scorn.

He truly had no one to blame for the punishment he had received other than himself.

The expression on her face and the stance of her muscled body did not change when the beast finally rose to his feet and stood towering over her. His size was nothing she couldn't handle as she had proven only moments before when he'd crashed and broken his branches and scattered his leaves. While Ktulu wanted little more now than to disappear into the darkening forest and go about her business, she would not back down so quickly and so she stood her ground staring down the lignea.
