Nefertari walk walk walk "talk talk talk" The young femme followed her father, her brother Amenhotep trailing behind her protectively. She staggered and nearly fell, letting out a startled squeal. "How much farther, daddy?" She stopped moving, shaking badly. She was tired and felt like crying because her legs hurt from walking all over the place, and she was just a year old and didn't know how to fly or anything yet! Amenhotep was looking at her with concern mixed with amusement; he, too, was tired, but he was bigger and had more strength then his sister. Nefertari looked up at Leander with big blue eyes, trembling, pained, refusing to cry though her legs screamed in agony. She also refused to complain. She found silence was better in the face of muscle cramps like the ones she was experiencing; it would only slow them down and she wanted to get to her father's home as quickly as possible. Funny how quickly she'd adopted the stallion as her father-- even calling him that automatically. Amenhotep had known their father, being a year older than her, and so still referred to Leander by his name. He didn't really like the fact that his baby sister called him dad, daddy, father, etc, but he knew that she had no memory of their sire and so naturally she accepted Leander as hers. She didn't care that he hadn't actually sired her-- she loved him just as she would have if he had indeed been her blood father.  |
